This patch updates the version of the Sun Cobalt ManageRaQ appliance agent installed on newly managed Sun Cobalt RaQ server appliances. Previous versions of the agent had some issues being installed on some Sun Cobalt RaQ 3 server appliances.

This Update supports Sun Cobalt RaQ 4i and RaQ 4r server appliance products.

User Interface
  • The User Interface recognizes Sun Cobalt RaQ 4i and RaQ 4r server appliances
  • Raid status is displayed on "Report Detail" page
  • New Menu Option allows users to add up to 25 Sun Cobalt RaQ server appliances on a single screen.
  • Report Details now displays time since last reboot in "System Uptime" column.
Agent Updates
  • Upgraded agent to 'mc-agent-1.82.pkg'
  • Agent now supports Management of Sun Cobalt RaQ 4i and RaQ 4r server appliances
  • Raid status is handled as part of support for Sun Cobalt RaQ 4r server appliances
Miscellaneous
  • Report Services time is now displayed correctly between 12-1 PM.
  • Sun Cobalt ManageRaQ appliance now correctly detects when a managed Sun Cobalt RaQ server appliance changes its IP address and the corresponding dns entry is updated.
    NOTE: The Sun Cobalt ManageRaQ appliance needs to be rebooted before it will query for updated IP information from the DNS server.
  • Sun Cobalt ManageRaQ appliance now correctly installs on a Sun Cobalt RaQ server appliance where the password for admin/root was changed outside the Sun Cobalt User Interface.
    NOTE: The admin and root password are still required to be identical.
  • Changes to the Sun Cobalt ManageRaQ appliance clock no longer result in the Sun Cobalt ManageRaQ appliance not querying its managed Sun Cobalt RaQ server appliances for information for extended periods.
